Hello, my Regency-loving friends. Interesting, isn’t it, that the actual Regency last only from 1811-1820, but the periods before and after can also be considered part of the era? \u00a0When trying to explain to the uninitiated, what the\u00a0Regency is, I’ll often bring up Jane Austen. I find that most, but not all, have heard of the book\u00a0Pride and Prejudice<\/em><\/strong> and they can get a grasp on what kind of fiction genre I am writing.\"104_2304\"<\/a><\/p>

So, to bring Jane Austen alive again, in our minds only, I bring you some of her delicious quotes.<\/p>\n

What dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance<\/a>.<\/q><\/span><\/p>\n

“A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment<\/a>.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on these quotes alone, I do believe I would have enjoyed know Jane Austen.<\/p>\n
