My friend loves \u201cfriends discover they love each other\u201d plot lines, and she also favors strong female lead characters.<\/p>\n<p>So it got me wondering, what do other Regency lovers prefer?<\/p>\n<p>So please weigh in! I am super curious to know what types of story lines you prefer in your Regency romances. I\u2019m including <a href=\"http:\/\/prairiechickswriteromance.blogspot.com\/2009\/08\/twenty-classic-romance-plots-part-two.html\" target=\"_blank\">a list I got off the internet<\/a> to jog your memory, and I have to admit some of these gave me a chuckle while others made me nostalgic for some of my favorite Regency books.<\/p>\n<p>1. Secret Baby<br \/>\n2. Cinderella (rags to riches)<br \/>\n3. Opposites Attract<br \/>\n4. Bodyguard<br \/>\n5. Second chance\/First love rekindled<br \/>\n6. Reunion<br \/>\n7. Stranded<br \/>\n8. Love Triangle<br \/>\n9. Marriage of Convenience (mail-order bride)<br \/>\n10. Beauty and the Beast<br \/>\n11. Sleeping Beauty\/Ugly duckling<br \/>\n12. Amnesia<br \/>\n13. Fish out of water<br \/>\n14. Blackmail\/Revenge<br \/>\n15. Forbidden love<br \/>\n16. Mentor\/prot\u00e9g\u00e9 (boss\/employee) (Maids, housekeepers, governesses)<br \/>\n17. Princess\/Pauper; King\/Beggar maid (impoverished ladies\/lords)<br \/>\n18. Bad boy\/good girl; Bad girl\/good boy (Rakes\/virgins and scandalous women\/respectable lords)<br \/>\n19. Best Friends<br \/>\n20.
